Nestled in the Umbrian hills, this house is more than just a place to live, it's the realization of a lifelong dream. Just a few years ago, the owners set out to restore an old farmhouse into something deeply personal, blending thoughtful design with sustainable choices. The result is a minimalist, soulful space that reflects a desire for simplicity, beauty, and connection with nature.

On the ground floor, you'll find a larger dining area and a cozy living room, primarily used in Winter with the warmth of the fireplace. The essential and functional kitchen has direct access to a sunny terrace with a gazebo - perfect for dinners under the stars.
On the first floor another spacious living area, three bedrooms and a modern bathroom.
Above one of the bedrooms is an additional attic room.
Next to the house is a separate annex, used as a technical room (25 m²) equipped with water, electricity, washing machine and a pellet boiler. A beautiful infinity pool reflects the sky and is almost camoflaged with the surrounding nature. The land includes 300 mature olive trees, ready to produce high-quality, organic olive oil.


The restoration, with the collaboration and guidance of the interior designer Jo Lamberts, followed the strong belief that a home should be honest, purposeful, and built with love. Recycled and reclaimed materials play a central role. The wooden floors, once part of another life, were introduced to underline natural character and warmth. Bare steel frames around the doors and exposed copper pipes in the bathrooms were left visible-celebrating raw, functional materials as elements of design. These choices speak to a philosophy of authenticity-nothing is hidden, nothing is superficial. Each material tells a story, each imperfection embraced. The result is a home that feels grounded, real, and full of quiet charm.


Simplicity shapes every space with its clean lines and uncluttered rooms. Large windows bring the outside in, allowing natural light to shift across the floors and walls, and connecting daily life with the rhythms of the landscape. Living here means living slowly. It means waking to birdsong, walking barefoot and watching the olive trees at sunset from the window.
