The Urban Area:
The area acts as an exact border between an area and others: in the case, between the Bufalotta-Casal Boccone area and the Monte Sacro Alto district.
It is an area of the Town Hall III of Rome. It is located north of the municipal area, at the turn of the large ring road.
Its surface is measured in 14 square kilometers and houses, according to the 2015 census, over seven thousand inhabitants.
The name Bufalotta derives from the ancient "Ciampiglia dei del Bufalo" hold in which the noble family of Pistoia was settled which in 1200 settled in Rome. In fact, the head of the family appeared the head of a buffalo with a ring between the nostrils and the motto between the horns. Thus, the road that was aiming from the center of the capital to the north east was called "Via della Bufalotta". The area has preserved the name of the street over the years as per practice for residential development areas that take on the name of the road network.
The neighborhood is far from the chaos of the city but excellently connected, thanks to the dense network of public transport that arrive directly in the most central areas of the city.
In the neighborhood we find several attractions: a short distance from any basic necessities, schools of all levels and from the commercial streets of the Talenti district (via Ugo Ojetti, full of numerous and renowned shopping and first -rate shopping centers), also enjoys the high presence of green areas, such as the Marcigliana Park Natural Reserve, the Talent Park, the Agazzano Park.
