The area and its history:
The property located for sale is located in the historic center of the capital, in the Parlia district, sixth district of Rome, indicated with R. VI. Its coat of arms is a griffin, Greek mythological creature with the head of eagle and the body of lion. It was chosen as a symbol of pride and nobility.
The name Parione could derive from the medieval term "pariones" to indicate the "ruins", a term deriving in turn from the Latin term "paries" which means "wall, wall". The ruin, which disappeared today, could belong to the latest pre -cores of the Domitian stadium or the fabulous palace of the Prefect of Urbe, Cromaziano, indicated by the "Mirabilia Romae" such as the "Templum Olovetreum": a very high palace made of mosaics, crystals and gold , adorned with astronomy with the signs of the sky. A medieval tower was supported in the surviving walls mentioned with the name of "Torre Parione de Campo": it was located near the Agonal Circus, in the short stretch between S.Tommaso in Parione and the Piazza di Pasquino. The district welcomes two of the most renowned squares in Rome: Piazza Navona, theater of mythical parties in an incomparable Baroque scenario, and Campo de 'Fiori, symbol of a profession, that of the florist, like many others who characterize Parione and remained linked to the Names of the streets, such as via dei Cappellari, of the Chiavari, of the Bacullari, the Canestrari, the Lautari or Largo dei Librari. Parione was appointed there in Rome on May 18, 1743, with Chiographer of Pope Benedict XIV.

Refined angle:
The old taverns, in the Corso Vittorio area, are now a distant memory. Today the dishes of the Roman tradition we find them proposed with determination and with special attention to the raw material together with the most modern kitchens offered to patrons of all ages but with a level of appreciated refinement. A mission worthy in a corner of city where you have to measure yourself with a new generation of fast addresses, pizzicherie that occupy sidewalks, retailers of drinks and various sandwiches, often more careful to conquer tourists on the road towards San Pietro than the palate of the Romans.
