The property has two main entrances. The first gives access to the owners area, with a large professional kitchen and lounge area, with grand Cantou fireplace. A large dining area is located from the kitchen, this is for the clients using the sleeping accommodation.
The owners two bedrooms and bathroom are also on this level, with a utility room that contains the heating system.
The guests access is to the rear of the property. This consists of a large shared open plan area, that includes lounge and small kitchen. This area has a chalet feel due to the exposed wooden beams and floors.
Four bedrooms area located on this floor, all en-suite, offering group or individual accommodation. The large garden offers views across the countryside, allowing owners and guests to relax. There is also a ruin of an ancient house, with the possibility of obtaining planning permission, to construct another property.

Cantal is a great place for adventure, or for a more relaxing stroll around a local lake or park. Among the extinct volcanoes of the Auvergne countryside, peaceful villages, medieval towns and large cities are all opportunities to sample the local cuisine, where food is sourced directly from local farmers and the surrounding land. Cantal, Bleu d'Auvergne and Salers are just a selection of the fantastic cheeses available, which can be followed along the Cheese Route. Local historic sites to visit include Saint Flour, with its Gothic cathedral, and, to the south, Gustave Eiffel's magnificent Garabit viaduct, which crosses the steep Truyère valley. The old village of Salers, one of the most beautiful villages in Frances, offers hands-on demonstrations of the countryside, from milking cows to creating bespoke knives. To the south of the Cantal lies the capital of the Cantal, with its festivals and eateries. It is also famous for the production of umbrellas, which adorn the streets.
