    Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

    The location is very convenient- close to bus stations and train stations, and there are supermarkets within walking distance. Our apartment has a beautiful view of the sea from a far. Very nice.

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    Very soon. We had a small light switch issue and got fixed very soon.

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    I’d bring a keychain. Our keys are small round plates. For me I need to hang something to it to avoid losing it.

    Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

    Bus stop right in front and others close by, short walk to train station (and an express bus to the train station from directly in front will begin in a couple weeks); close to coffee shops, restaurants, grocery stores. We have several favorite pubs and restaurants in walking distance, a short distance (1 mile) from beach, walking or bus/train distance from everything. A short walk from Hove Park which is a lovely park. Apartments are sound-proof from noises from other apartments; when our windows are open, we have been awakened by nearby construction sounds, we're right next to the train tracks but have gotten used to that sound.

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    We had a few issues when we moved in, maintenance responded immediately and fixed the problems satisfactorily and quickly.

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    We rented the apartment from abroad without seeing it in person. Overall, we are pleased with how well it worked out. But, we are right on the train tracks and that, plus the roofs of some industrial buildings, is our main view; if we had seen it in person we might have chosen a unit with a nicer view.

    Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

    The location is excellent , minutes away from local shops. Five minutes walk to Hove station, plenty of buses going by just outside. Hove Park is round the corner which is great to walk my dog. Being so central it is surprisingly quiet in my room.

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    I have had no problems to report personally. However when issues arise, we were informed promptly and the issue is resolved very quickly.

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    It is very warm and friendly and my apartment is now very cosy and comfortable. The art work, planting and sculptures dotted around everywhere give the whole place Cosoul, such an unexpected surprise.

    Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

    THE GOOD: The area may seem a little isolated at first, but it’s actually very well connected. Bus number 5 stops right outside Moda, taking you to Brighton city center in about 20 minutes and to Church Street in 10 minutes, where most local pubs and restaurants are. A new 3x bus line will soon link MODA directly to Hove station, which will be great for commuters. Hove Park and LIDL are a 10-minute walk, and Waitrose is also nearby. THE BAD: Sackville Road and surrounding streets get busy and noisy during peak hours. The biggest downside, however, is air quality—pollution levels feel bad.

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    MAINTENANCE:***** Toby, Kyle, and Joe have been brilliant every time—helpful with decorating, fixing heating and hot water issues, and always friendly and respectful. CONCIERGE:***** Nate, Shannon, and George are simply the best. They’ve made us feel welcome at all hours of the day—something truly rare. MANAGEMENT:***** Agne has been our main contact for feedback and issues—mainly around contract renewals, leasing team communication, and clarifying perks that were promised before we signed. She listens, follows through, and makes sure problems are properly resolved. LEASING CONTRACTS:** This has been the weakest part of the experience. Communication is often delayed, vague, or incomplete, which caused unnecessary stress. Likely a workload issue rather than specific people, but it’s an area that needs improvement. Thankfully, all matters have been resolved now.

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    Air quality around the development is poor—polluted and noisy during the day. It’s not much of an issue inside our flat, but as soon as you step outside the compound it becomes very noticeable.

    Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

    Good local shops with Lidl and Waitrose nearby. Not far from the george street shopping area. Parking onsite makes life much easier as well. Decent bus routes just up the road as well

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    I had a curtain fall down which was fixed the next day. I also had an issue with my keylock system, this took a little longer but the team were helful and kept me up to date until it was fixed

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    If you're south facing it can get incredibly hot in the flat. Aircon or a cooler is definitely a must.
