The gardens are a prime feature of the house and have been carefully planted and managed to make them relatively easy to maintain, with mature shrubs and hard landscaping in the front garden. Path leads to the right of the house, past the large shed and greenhouse to the rear garden. Paved patio runs across the width of the house, separated by a picket fence from the lawn, which is interspersed with mature trees and shrubs, including a productive apple tree.
