Owners Comment:
Living so close to the sea has been incredibly calming. The view never stays the same. The sea colours change with the seasons. Sunrises and sunsets are breathtaking.
Over the years, I have watched pods of dolphins from the window, followed the Round the Island race from the comfort of my sofa and watching everything from fishing boats and ferries to warships, there Red Arrows and even Spitfires overheard.
The private terraced garden has been a real highlight. It's quiet, green and completely mine - a rare luxury for a flat like this.
There is also something special about the history of this property. It was original used as a vegetarian hotel, its most notable guest was Mohandas Ghandi who stayed here twice between 1890 and 1891. His visits clearly left an impression as he mentioned his trips to Ventnor in his autobiography. Video footage of the surrounding area is available, please ask to view.
