Double patio doors from here lead to the pool-side terrace. This area could easily be closed off and used as a separate guest annex, or kept as part of the main house.


To the other side of the parking area is a large barn with garage door, plus 2 other doors, one of which opens to the track and the other to the garden. 


In addition to mains electricity, there are photovoltaic panels for electricity generation with battery storage.  A solar panel for hot-water, plus a borehole for water, means that this is a great property for those who wish to be self-sufficient.  This country property has access to fibre internet - ideal if you want to work from home. 



There are a variety of fruit trees on the property including different types of oranges, tangerines, lemon, pomegranate, fig, banana, walnut, olives and grapes. This is a lovely area for dog-walking or mountain biking, and you can enjoy the peace of the countryside while being close to amenities. It is only 5km from Silves town with shops, restaurants, castle and the river promenade.  There are two golf courses within 7km and it is only 13km to the coast. There are multiple international schools (Dutch, German and English language) within 3 - 14kms.  Faro airport is less than 50 minutes on the motorway.
