The most popular towns here are Kiotari, Gennadi, Lahania and the most southerly village, Kattavia.
Accessibility: A regular bus service from Rhodes town connecting a number of villages in between.
Investment Potential: The south is certainly the region with the biggest investment potential. In recent years, some 5-star hotels opened their doors here, and the infrastructure is gradually being improved.
