Description
Twegan
Located in the heart of the traditional village of Trunch, Twegan is a fabulous detached four bedroom family home. Tucked away on a pretty lane, the house is situated on a good size plot, set back from the road and with large front and back gardens. Trunch is well located, close to amenities and just a short drive from the coast.
Accommodation on the ground floor briefly comprises a large entrance hall with original wooden parquet flooring, a cloakroom with handwash basin and loo, a kitchen, garden room and two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite walk in shower and the other with a wet room. On the first floor are two further bedrooms, both doubles and with excellent storage under the eaves. There is a family bathroom with a corner bath and a shower over, a hand wash basin and loo.
With the sitting room to the right, the ground floor bedrooms to the left, the kitchen directly in front, and the staircase leading to the first floor landing, the entrance hallway feels light and spacious as soon as you walk through the front door.
The sitting room is a brilliant family room, with a chimney piece separating the room into two and with plenty of room for plenty of comfortable seating on both sides. There is a large bay window to the front overlooking the front garden and a door to the side, which leads out to the very pretty paved garden.
The kitchen is well equipped with shaker style fitted units on the top and bottom, an integrated fan assisted oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, plumbing for a washing machine and plenty of work space for keen cooks. The garden room leads off the kitchen, with plenty of room for a large table and is a sociable room for dining.
The staircase leads up to a large landing, off which are two further double bedrooms, both with excellent storage within the eaves. There is a family bathroom with a corner bath, shower over and hand wash basin and a separate loo.
The property is available as a turnkey, complete with all the furniture and fittings and white goods (barring some personal items) by separate negotiation.
The Outside
The house is set back from the road with brick and flint walls either side. The front drive is part laid to gravel and lawned and with mature shrubs and trees. The rear garden is accessed from both sides of the house and opens out into a paved area directly outside the garden room, which is perfect for al fresco dining. With many mature beds, trees and shrubs, the remainder of the garden is lawned and provides the ideal setting for enthusiastic gardeners.
To the side of the house is a garage with electricity providing useful storage.
