Description
We lived here for a total of 20 years now and have absolutely loved it.
The neighbours are welcoming and there is a real community here. We have shared street parties, house parties, BBQs, dinner parties and birthday parties with them and made some amazing friends over the years - we will really miss having them on our doorstep! The street is quiet and residential but only 5 mins walk from pretty much every shop, cafe, restaurant and hairdresser you would ever need, as well as a choice of local pubs. Local favourites are Da Moreno for pizza, Tapelia for tapas, Patri for Indian street food, Papaya for South Indian, Nuki for Thai, Maxim for Chinese and The Forester for a Sunday roast - you can pretty much eat your way around the world! The Cheddar Deli and the coffee at Court of Miracles or Element Cafe are also highlights. We also have an Ofsted Outstanding school (Fielding) and a choice of parks very close by. (Walkthrough two of them to get to Ealing Broadway tube in about 15 minutes).
With off-street parking, nearby bus stops and Northfields tube only three minutes' walk away we are really well connected. Central London is about 35 mins away and Heathrow about 20 on the tube.
The house itself is light bright, spacious and feels really airy. We lovingly restored the original features throughout to maintain its period Victorian charm, blending attention to detail and modern but practical design touches to create a house with a real WOW factor. The loft bedroom is particularly stunning, designed to look and feel like a boutique spa hotel. It's been a happy and much-loved family home but now our boys are getting a bit bigger we have to move. We will always remember this place with fondness and great memories. We hope you love living here as much as we have.
