"Our favourite part of the house is the large open-plan space downstairs, where we have done lots of entertaining over the years. As a chef, I really love our kitchen! We have used the room off the kitchen in a variety of ways, including a fifth bedroom, snug, office, and playroom! It’s lovely to be tucked away from the hustle and bustle in a quiet, friendly neighbourhood, which is nice to come home to. We’ve enjoyed summer evenings in the garden with a glass of wine, watching the sunset."

The home
A delightful semi-detached four-bedroom house. Downstairs is a large open-plan living and dining area. Living in Troopers Hill
Dundridge Lane not only has the benefit of a green immediate environment but also several spaces to enjoy nearby. Troopers’ Hill Nature Reserve, commanding views over the city and full of wildlife, is just minutes away on foot, a brilliant spot for those looking to walk the dog or just enjoy a peaceful spot in the city. Conham River and Avon Valley Park are also within walking distance, an oasis in Bristol with riverside walks, home to lots of wildlife such as kingfishers and otters, as well as providing access via a short boat crossing to Beeses’ bar and garden, which sits next to and overlooks the river.

Hanham High Street is just a short walk away, home to several cafés, some boutique shops, and a florist. Hanham is well-regarded for its schools, with Beacon Rise Primary and Hanham Abbots Junior School well thought of, and Hanham Woods Academy, also rated highly as a secondary school, further fuelling this area’s popularity with families.
