Location

149 and 147 Aberdour Road are set on a site of 0.9 acres on the hillside above Burntisland. The views from the houses over the village to the Firth of Forth, the Forth bridges and Edinburgh on the far side are absolutely superb. The houses are given privacy by the stone wall behind which shields the A921 and by clever design with all the main windows facing south.

Burntisland is one of a chain of historic coastal villages on the south coast of Fife. The village has an active community and the also acts as a home for commuters working in the larger local towns as well as Edinburgh.

Edinburgh is only 19 miles away and Edinburgh Airport is on the near side of the city. The M90, just 9 miles to the west, provides fast links to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth. There is a railway station in Burntisland with services into Edinburgh. Inverkeithing railway station (9 miles) is a larger station with more services.

There is a range of local amenities in Burntisland and along the coast including a number of popular pubs and restaurants. There are supermarkets in Dalgety Bay and Kirkcaldy. Within the town there is a local sailing club, amateur swimming club and golf club,. The primary school is well regarded while secondary school is in Kirkcaldy. There are a number of private schools within reach including Dollar Academy and the many independent Edinburgh schools.
