Candleriggs is in a really handy spot in Merchant City. Loads of great restaurants and bars around, and plenty of grocery shops too M&S, Sainsbury’s and Tesco are all close by. Transport is good, there’s a bus stop right outside and both the subway and train stations are within walking distance
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They’ve been amazing. Any time I had a question or needed something, they got back to me quickly and sorted it out without hassle. Super responsive and really friendly throughout.

Honestly I have zero complaints whatsoever. !!!!!!!!

Having moved to Candleriggs a month ago, I’m really impressed by how central and well-connected the area is. There’s an excellent range of local shops (Tesco, Sainsbury’s, M&S) and loads of options for eating out, covering pretty much every cuisine you can think of. With Merchant City is on your doorstep with plenty of pubs and cafes, so there’s always somewhere to socialize. Within walking distance Glasgow Green which is great for a stroll or run. Transport links are top-notch with Queen Street and Central stations nearby. Overall, I would say it’s a vibrant, super convenient place to live with everything you need close by.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has been very responsive, addressing any issues quickly and effectively to ensure residents’ comfort and satisfaction.

Nothing really caught me by surprise I felt well informed before moving in.

Everything is absolutely perfect apart from the temperature in the building as it’s way too hot. No noise to speak of apart from weekends. Some female tenants are a bit loud.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Cooker/ oven was fixed spin a timely manner. I was also offered an alternative apartment to cook in.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Recycling doesn’t seem to getting done as I can’t find to bottle bin.

The variety and quality of shops, restaurants, bars and open spaces around the apartment are very good. The accessibility and usability of the apartment itself are also very satisfactory. The living environment on the streets near the apartment is very good, for example, parking availability and rubbish collection are good, and there is no nuisance behaviour or traffic noise.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The apartment management team responds quickly to any issues raised. These issues are also resolved by professionals within a relatively short time schedule.

It would be helpful to know the noise level at night before checking in.

Merchant City has everything you need – loads of great restaurants, bars, and shops, plus Glasgow Green is just around the corner. It’s a lively area but feels safe and friendly especially with the front of house 24/7 team. Transport is really convenient with both main train stations nearby and plenty of buses. It’s city centre living, so you do get some noise, but glazing in my appt was really good and I’ve had no issues with anti-social behaviour. Overall, a brilliant location with loads going on.

Yes, I had a few technical questions about setting up bills etc and they were super helpful.

You get so much more for your money here than usual rental options. The team put so much into it all.
