"What first drew us here from Bristol was the location - just 5 minutes from the beach and the lovely Clarence Park - and the sheer space and light in the house. Over the years we've loved restoring it. The open plan kitchen-diner, with high ceilings and fireplace, is the real heart of the home. We also added bigger windows and a skylight upstairs, to light up the whole house.
The garden has been a joy, too, whether it's evenings around the firepit with friends or growing our own veg at the back. And the fruit trees are amazing (the cherry tree in particular, which is our kids' first stop on June/July mornings!)
It a fantastic spot: walking distance to local shops and Weston train station (the journey to Bristol as quick as 24 minutes).
Our daughters are thriving at Uphill Village Academy (Ofsted Outstanding), and Broadoak Secondary is right around the corner.
We've also loved Weston's cultural life - from nights at The Front Room Theatre to the buzz of frequent Super Culture events.
This has been a wonderful home in a lively, welcoming community, and a great place to raise our family. We will miss living here."
