LOCAL AREA INFORMATION Linton is a village in Cambridgeshire on the border with Essex. Approx 8 miles (13KM) southeast of Cambridge City Centre and close to both the A1307 and B1052.

Located within the village there is St Mary's Anglican Church which has sat on the banks of the River Granta for more than 800 years, to the southern edge there is Linton Zoo to the north side Chilford Hall and its vineyards. The village has a library, Veterinary Surgery, Brewery, Pharmacy, local convenience shops, florist, several public houses and eateries.

Linton Village College, Granta School and Linton Heights Junior School are popular and well regarded. For activities, the village is on the Icknield Way Path, there s a fitness Centre, Recreation Ground, Linton Community Sport Centre and Pilates studio.
