Description

Set back from Silver Street, this versatile three/four bedroom home offers generous ground-floor accommodation alongside a spacious loft room. With a conservatory, and a beautiful south-facing garden backing onto open fields, the property combines flexible living with a practical layout. A large driveway, double garage with workshop space, and ample parking further enhance its appeal.

THE GROUND FLOOR
Step through the covered porch and front door into the welcoming hallway. To the left, a door opens into a generous sitting and dining room, with views over the drive at the front and patio doors at the rear leading into the conservatory and onward to the garden. The kitchen is well equipped with a selection of wall and base units, an integrated fridge, ceramic hob, electric oven, and sink. From here, a lobby provides access to the utility room, offering space and plumbing for both a washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as housing the Worcester gas-fired boiler. The lobby also connects directly to the conservatory. An airing cupboard is also located on this level. The principal bedroom benefits from patio doors to the garden, along with a dressing area and its own en suite shower room. Bedrooms two and three, both doubles, are positioned at the west end of the house and are served by the main bathroom, fitted with a bath, corner shower enclosure, vanity unit, and WC.

THE FIRST FLOOR
A staircase rises to the spacious loft room, which features three Velux windows, fitted cupboards, and useful under-eaves storage.

OUTSIDE
The property is approached from Silver Street via a broad driveway, offering ample parking and leading along the side of the house to a double garage with power and light, currently subdivided to create a workshop. To the rear, the south-facing garden backs onto open fields and enjoys excellent privacy. A wide granite-paved terrace runs the length of the house, opening onto a lawn with mature trees, shrubs, and planting. A pond is also in situ, though the liner requires replacement.

DIRECTIONS
From our office in the High Street proceed up into St Thomas Street joining the one way system in the right hand lane and continuing past Waitrose. Continue through both sets of traffic lights and over the mini roundabout, turning left just past The Monkey Brewhouse pub into Sway Road. Continue along Sway Road through the crossroads, past the Wheel Inn and past The Old Mill at Gordleton over the bridge. Follow the road along for approximately 1.5 miles where the property will be seen on the left. If approaching from Bournemouth, after the Hordle roundabout the property will be seen just after half a mile on the right.

SERVICES
The Worcester gas fired boiler is situated in the utility room and provides the domestic hot water and central heating. Mains water, electricity, gas and drainage are connected to the property
