The apartment is situated on the third floor offering nice views and split over TWO levels. It really feels more like a house than an apartment in terms of layout but with all the benefits of easy living an apartment offers.
This fabulous apartment with large sun trap balcony is timeless in appeal. There is a comfortable entrance with large powder room/WC and a very handy triple set of wall to ceiling storage cupboards for coats shoes etc .There are two other large storage cupboards inn the apartment.
Then one enters into the fully open plan living and dining space. A fantastic size with ample room for dining, relaxing and entertaining. Everything oozes quality and it feels like home straight away.
The chefs among you will love the kitchen. First we are cooking on GAS which is a welcome change from the electric hobs which in my opinion are never the same. The kitchen has all the nice touches the Quooker boiling tap, so no need for a kettle, the large wine cooler fridge, quality appliances, dishwasher, ovens, microwave, fridge freezers built in, easy to clean down composite surfaces and tiled flooring. Of course there is the kick out breakfast bar with seating for four and plenty of storage in the tasteful pastel units. It is bright and spacious and the design/layout gives the room a very social feel.
What is a very rare find in an apartment is a full separate utility room off the kitchen. I love this! No washer dryer in the kitchen, they never work as well and a total pet hate of mine so I'm going to have a rant here folks...taking your washing out and having to put it on the surface where you cook etc its not ideal..and in a Penthouse apartment there is enough space to afford a utility as we see here so can any developer reading this design more apartments with a utility please, it is a relatively small extra cost and slight reduction from the living space but so worth it! Rant over..but credit to the developer here as they have designed the utility to have space for a washing machine and a dryer as we all as a sink and some handy storage/surfaces BRAVO! And we are cooking on gas as I said before....Brilliant!
Beyond the kitchen there is ample room for a large dining table as well as a full further area for your sofa, coffee table etc. I particularly like the choice of the 'arctic grey' carpets which your feet really sink into. There is also plenty of natural light coming through from the doors and windows. In the living space a stunning central wood effect fire with natural flame which must be so cosy in the winter months. There is also a designed recess for your television and sound bar to be wall mounted which is a lovely touch (or the owner may choose to sell hers to you at a fair price) Then from the living space large double doors access the balcony, and this is a balcony you can really use as an additional room unlike many which are so narrow they are meaningless. The balcony is huge and runs the full length of the apartment and as you will see from the pics is wide and easily fits an outside table and chairs for multiple guests, ideal for al fresco dining and or the tipple of your choice at the end of the day! There is further space for crash out seating and it is all very private.
The first floor continues to impress with three double bedrooms. The principle has excellent wall to ceiling storage in two areas so should be plenty for a couple to share, there are large windows giving it a bright feel, good head height, that lovely soft carpet running through and a wonderful fully tiled en-suite with large walk in shower. The opposite side is an equally large room again with plenty of wall to ceiling in built storage and finally the third bedroom a smaller double or outstanding office/guest space as the owner has been using it for.
WIFI is good, phone reception works all the irritating things you sometimes find when you have moved in are NOT there!
There are 2 designated parking bays and they actually fit a decent size car in them too. The apartment block has a further EV space for sole use of the residents.
The entrance has a boutique feel yet feels in keeping and is quite beautifully done. Within the overall site there is an excellent cafe/restaurant a supermarket, a dentist and plenty of green space as well as access to the race course which can be used for walking/jogging etc.
I have seen a lot of apartments over the years but this one really is one of the best/most practical/stylish for multiple reasons and situated in a safe grade A location.
