Description
On 4 June 2020 Planning Application No. 20/01332/PDQ was approved for the conversion of the buildings into 4x residential (C3) dwellings. Since which time the planning application has lapsed but the precedent of conversion into residential dwellings should be there for the ongoing owner to re-instate. In this regard, there will be a restriction on the site to limit the number of residential dwellings to 2x dwellings so as to protect the privacy and noise pollution to the neighbouring farmhouse, and vice versa. Pursa Farm Barns offers an inviting opportunity to create one or two bespoke dwellings from an attractive range of traditional Cheshire Brick barns which will ultimately have an open aspect across the fields to the south, being south facing and taking full advantage of the orientation. The previous consent was designed that the traditional range would be converted into 2x barn conversions and then the modern farm buildings into 2x barn conversions, with a driftway in between the two to allow access to the rear. It is conceivable that the plans could be altered to have larger detached dwellings, one in the traditional range, one in the modern farm buildings, with either a shared courtyard at the front or if one preferred, a more delineated boundary.
