Halsgrove is set in a peaceful elevated position, above the village of Withypool on Exmoor, enjoying panoramic and uninterrupted views over the Barle Valley to Withypool Common, Hill and beyond to Brightworthy Barrows.
Withypool is one of the Exmoor National Park's most popular villages, with excellent walking and outriding from the doorstep, and notable landmarks including Withypool Bridge, Landacre Bridge and Tarr Steps, to name but a few.
