The company was formed in Javea in 1970 when Javea was a sleepy fishing village by the late Roy Turner who instigated the first inspection flights to view Javea and surrounding districts when prospective clients had to be accommodated in Benidorm!

Over 50 years on, Crown proudly enjoys a reputation for efficiency professionalism, and above all integrity. Roy’s son in law Miguel Bas Segarra, associate of Expertos Inmobiliarios in Spain, is the current owner and managing director and has been with the company for over 35 years.

Our Range

Crown covers the whole range of the property spectrum - new and resale residential properties, as well as commercial properties, including going concerns, from bars, shops and restaurants to industrial and agricultural projects, within a 50 km radius of Javea. For the larger scale investor, building and development projects with full planning and infrastructure layouts are a company speciality.

Building

Crown produce individually styled, high quality villas on individual plots, as well as homes tailored to clients own design specifications on their existing land, using teams of constructors and tradesmen appropriate for individual projects, working with architects and town hall planners to optimise the project for the client whilst ensuring compliance with current building regulations. Joint venture building and development projects are also a feature of company policy.

Commercial properties include going concerns from Bars and Restaurants to Industrial and Agricultural projects.

Services

Crown operates a free, ongoing facility for all our clients - our “settling in service”. We feel when people move to a new environment, especially a foreign country, problems often arise. These are easily resolved for you with this free service which is indefinite. This service has proved invaluable not only to our clients but also the reputation and integrity of the Company.

Legal fees

Real Estate Agents fees are paid by the vendor.

Purchasers pay the State transmission of property Tax (purchase tax) and the Notary and Property Registry fees, totalling in all approximately 12% of the registered amount appearing on the Deed. Searches and Property register certificates are legally the responsibility of Registered Real Estate Agent. Purchase contracts are raised in 2 languages and must comply with statutory regulations.
