We’ve loved making this our first home together and our first taste of life in Bristol. From renovating the house and adding our own personal touch, to creating memories that have made it feel so special, Belmont Road has truly been the perfect place to call home. The community here is wonderful, and we’ve cherished everything from peaceful dog walks in Nightingale Valley, to lazy mornings with coffee from Kin and delicious cannoli from the local deli. The garden has been our sunshine haven in summer, where we’ve sat with breakfast and watched the hot air balloons float by overhead. In the winter, nothing has been cosier than evenings curled up in front of the log burner. And the location couldn’t be better: just a quick bus ride into the city for nights out, a short drive to beautiful countryside walks, and even a gentle stroll to fantastic local breweries."
The home
A beautiful three bedroom home just off Sandy Park Road which has been newly renovated throughout by the current owner. Step in and you're greeted by a gorgeous tilled hall way entrance which leads to the living space, the reception room wall has been knocked through to create an open plan space with light travelling through the bay window to the French doors at the rear. Living in Brislington
This immaculate Victorian home is placed on a residential road just off the popular Sandy Park Road. In a hugely convenient location, the property is in walking distance to several well-regarded shops and cafes including Grounded and Deli at Sandy Park. Paintworks is also just a short walk and is home to Lounge and Alex Does Coffee. Tapestry and Lost & Grounded are nationally renowned Bristol breweries with tap rooms, both of which are within walking distance. The area is popular with young professional’s families, being both close to the city centre but also accessible to several parks and larger green areas, such as the Nightingale Valley Nature Reserve and St Annes Wood. Arnos Vale Cemetery is just a short walk away and there are fairly extensive footpaths around the River Avon, which wraps around Brislington through some scenic spots, which includes the popular Beese’s Riverside Bar to the west. The area is also home to several good schools, such as Hollymead and Broomhill Primary. For commuters, Brislington is well placed, with several buses running through the area including the Park & Ride, as well as routes for cycling and walking to Bristol City Centre.
