Vendor Comments
This house where my parents have lived for over 66 years is a lovely family home where the light streams in. It is only now coming to the market due to a change in their circumstances and they are sorry to leave behind such great friends and neighbours. My sister and I were brought up here and in fact I was even born in this house so it has really been a home from home all of my life.
It is situated in a popular peaceful location with the Grand Union Canal at the bottom of the garden. Within a few minutes’ walk you can be on the canal towpath which is on the opposite side, in fact the mature rear garden shelters you from noise so there is no disturbance. I have very fond memories of running to the bottom of the garden to wave to barges as they went along the canal when we were younger, as did my own children when we came to visit.
There is easy access for bus routes on Warwick Road where shops and takeaways are also located. Olton Station is a short walk with train links to either Solihull, Birmingham or further afield. There is good access to the M42 where you can access all major motorway networks but far enough away not to be disturbed by road noise. There are also excellent schools and sixth forms situated locally.
We will all miss this house so much but the time is right for someone else to call it their home and build new memories and experience the joys of living here. We hope the new owners will be as happy as my parents have always been.
