Description
BRICKWORKS SAYS
Graceful spaces and calming hues make this home a delight. The ground floor is filled with light that streams in from the front and back, thanks to its east/west orientation. The lounge, our favourite room, is beautifully designed with an atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. That welcoming vibe continues into the deep green kitchen at the back. Next to the kitchen is a study area, away from the living space, overlooking the garden. It’s a spot for focus and contemplation.
Upstairs, the bathroom is spacious enough to accommodate both a bath and a separate shower, fitted with matching contemporary metro tiles. Two generous bedrooms, with plush carpets and soothing, coordinated tones, serve as calming retreats. Outside, the apple tree provides a picturesque backdrop, with a studio tucked away at the end of the garden.
The popularity of Seven Sisters continues to grow, and it’s easy to see why. Revered by locals for being big on community, with fantastic eateries and coffee shops, and a nighttime scene to keep you up later than you should. Plus, there are green spaces for everyone, from parks for families to Walthamstow Marshes for those wanting something wilder, or West Reservoir for people who like to take a cold-water dip.
THE OWNERS SAY
I've enjoyed two very happy years living on Roslyn Road. From the moment I moved in, I was warmly welcomed by the local community and quickly felt at home. Saturday mornings often start with a coffee from Perkyns or With Milk, followed by a stroll through Downhills Park. I’ve enjoyed pilates at First Reform, jogs around the parks and canals of Walthamstow, and evening cocktails at Pasero.
The tube station is just 5 minutes from the front door, allowing you to reach the West End within 20 minutes, which has been excellent for a quick commute and meeting friends.
The house itself is tucked away on a quiet road, with no immediate neighbours behind, so you get a sense of privacy when sitting in the garden. I have such fond memories of summer days pottering outside and dinner parties with friends gathered around the dining table, spilling out into the garden on warm evenings.

Monthly costs are approx:

Recent work:
The current owner has made significant improvements to the house during their time. Big-ticket items include replacing the flat roof of both the bathroom and office, as well as adding insulation. They opened up the main chimney and installed an original Victorian cast iron fireplace in the sitting room. Additionally, bespoke cupboards and shelving were fitted on either side of the fireplace, and handmade fitted wardrobes with a concealed chest of drawers were created in the main bedroom.
Getting around:
Take a short walk to Seven Sisters station for excellent connectivity via the Victoria line or National Rail services into the city and beyond. Alternatively, head to South Tottenham to catch the Suffragette Overground line for access across the capital.
Onward plans:
The current owner is relocating to be closer to family who live outside London and is selling chain-free.
Anything else:
If you are looking for more space––now or in the future––the loft could be converted and, depending on your plans, would likely fall under permitted development.
