Sellers' comments...

Woodlands View has been our home for nearly 19 years. Before we bought the house we’d spent many months looking at properties. Then along comes this place and we pretty much offered immediately. We love its unique features and distinctive feel and flow. It’s great for so many things – entertaining, working, relaxing, it’s a proper home. At Christmas time we light the open fire and decorate the chimney top to toe in candles. In summer we open up all the windows in the roof and let the air flow through. It’s been the perfect place to raise our family – there’s lots of fantastic schools in the area, for all ages and there’s heaps of green space for children to play as well as great walks on the doorstep. It’s an easy commute to London, and you’ve got popular tourist destinations nearby like Henley-on-Thames, Marlow and Windsor. We’ve had the best time here, and we will miss it.

Adam's (estate agent) comments...

This exceptional Hare Hatch property is one you truly have to see to believe! The highlight has to be the striking mezzanine space overlooking the living room – a rare and characterful feature that adds a real wow-factor.

Set on a generous plot, this home boasts impressive land to both the front and rear. The frontage offers a spacious driveway with parking for approximately five vehicles, while the large rear garden enjoys a sunny aspect and features a patio area – perfect for entertaining family and friends.

As a chalet-style bungalow, the ground floor offers exceptional space. There are two generous bedrooms, each with its own en-suite shower room and built-in storage. The heart of the home is the stylish, centrally located kitchen, blending modern design with the property’s charming character. A useful utility room provides access to a ground floor W/C and the garden.

Off the kitchen, a vast dining room is ideal for family gatherings and dinner parties. The inviting living room is a real showstopper, with its eye-catching chimney stack, open fire, and double-height ceiling. Internal access to the garage is also available via the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the mezzanine creates a stunning focal point, complemented by a versatile reception area currently used as a home office. You’ll also find a spacious double bedroom with a charming Juliet balcony and useful eaves storage.

Hare Hatch is a picturesque village nestled in the Berkshire countryside, approximately 7 miles north-east of Reading and 6 miles west of Maidenhead. It forms part of the civil parish of Ruscombe, and is closely associated with the neighbouring village of Wargrave. The village is surrounded by the natural beauty of the Berkshire landscape, offering residents and visitors a tranquil environment. With its charming pubs like the Horse and Groom, Hare Hatch fosters a strong sense of community and offers a welcoming atmosphere. The village benefits from excellent transport connections, with the A4 road passing through and the M4 motorway nearby. Covering South East

Much like a version of how 'real estate' works in the US, the avocado brokerage guarantees that every client will directly work with the business owner. Each partner agent becomes your personal agent and is committed to working with a small exclusive amount of clients.
