Description

A three-bedroom detached bungalow set in Hillside Drive within the peaceful and well-regarded village of Gomeldon. This property offers well-proportioned accommodation with excellent scope for modernisation, making it an ideal opportunity for buyers wishing to create a home to their own taste. NO FORWARD CHAIN.

Inside, the entrance hall provides access to all the main rooms. The sitting room is light and welcoming with a dual aspect, while the adjoining dining room enjoys doors that open onto the garden. The kitchen sits at the rear of the property with garden views and has potential to extend to create an open plan family living space, subject to the necessary planning consents. There are three bedrooms, two generous doubles and a single which could be used as a study or hobbies room. The bathroom is currently fitted with a three-piece suite and would benefit from updating. Externally, the property sits on a generous plot and to the front, a driveway provides ample parking alongside a neat lawn, which in turn leads to the garage. The rear garden is private and mainly laid to lawn, with mature planting and a patio area perfect for al fresco dining. The bungalow further benefits from UPVC double glazing and gas-fired central heating.

Location
11 Hillside Drive is located in the village of East Gomeldon, just a short distance northeast of the historic Cathedral City of Salisbury. A local play park and field are within easy walking distance, while the nearby villages of Porton and Winterbourne offer a range of everyday amenities, including shops, a doctor's surgery, Post Office, pubs, and primary schools. East Gomeldon itself also benefits from its own primary school.
Salisbury provides extensive shopping, cultural, and leisure facilities, along with a mainline railway station offering a direct service to London Waterloo in approximately 90 minutes. The area is well served by highly regarded schools, including Bishops and South Wilts Grammar Schools, Salisbury Cathedral School, Chafyn Grove, and Godolphin.

Directions

From the centre of Salisbury, leave the city via the A30 London Road towards Andover. At St Mark's roundabout take the third exit signposted Bishopdown/Winterbourne and continue on the A338. Follow this road through Winterbourne Earls and Winterbourne Gunner. Shortly after passing through the villages, turn right signposted East Gomeldon.
Continue into the village and follow the main road through East Gomeldon. Turn right into Hillside, where number 11 will be found a short distance along on the left-hand side.
