The land is located between Ferndown and West Moors, to the north of A31, adjacent to Ferndown Forest Golf Club, with West Moors Woodlands Nature Reserve to the north.

There is currently no mains water supply to the land. The mains water supply runs along Forest Links Road.

From Wimborne head east on the A31. At the roundabout take the first exit signed posted to Ferndown Forest Golf Course and Police Station, onto Forest Links Road, a no through road. On the right hand bend turn left and just before the entrance to the Golf Course turn left. Follow this road and the first field gateway on the right hand side is the first entrance into Lot 1.
