Description
As you turn off the private road onto a quiet street of just four houses, the mature trees create a charming backdrop, setting the tone for what’s to come. Then your eyes are drawn to the home itself, brimming with kerb appeal and offering a rare setting where privacy meets charm.
As you enter the home, you’ll immediately notice the practical upgrades the current owners have made. LVT flooring runs through the hallway, study, and living room, combining style with practicality for everyday living.
The living room, located to the right of the hallway, offers a versatile space thanks to its generous shape and size. Whether you prefer a modern corner sofa or a classic suite, there’s plenty of room to arrange your furniture exactly how you like. Large doors open out to the garden, continuing the theme of spaciousness that runs throughout this home.
A substantial patio directly outside the doors is perfect for al fresco dining, while the lawn, laid with low-maintenance astroturf, provides a relaxing spot for outdoor enjoyment. Flower beds and raised planting beds surround the garden, offering space for flowers, herbs, or vegetables, while mature trees add charm and character. A dedicated play area covered in bark provides a safe space for children, making the garden both practical and family-friendly.
Back in the hallway, you’ll discover a truly rare feature, a dedicated study, a real bonus in a three-bedroom home. Whether you work from home, need a quiet space, or want a playroom for the little ones, it’s a wonderfully versatile space. Just next door, a convenient W/C makes life that little bit easier, especially for families with younger children.
The heart of any home is the kitchen, and this one certainly doesn’t disappoint. Spacious enough to accommodate a large dining table, it’s perfect for family meals or entertaining friends. The kitchen itself is beautifully finished with natural shaker-style units and wood-effect worktops, complemented by a tiled backsplash that adds a touch of homeliness. Integrated appliances include a double oven, dishwasher, wine cooler, and gas hob, while a handy storage cupboard provides space for the hoover. A door leads directly out to the garden, creating a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor living, ideal for summer dining or casual gatherings.
Upstairs, you’ll find three generous and welcoming bedrooms. The principal bedroom, located to the right-hand side of the house, enjoys its own ensuite, beautifully finished with soft grey tiles and a modern shower. The room is spacious enough for a double or king-size bed, with plenty of room for built-in wardrobes, creating a calm and comfortable retreat.
The second bedroom, currently used as a playroom or office, is impressively large and wonderfully versatile. It would make a perfect older child’s bedroom, offering the space they need to grow, or a cosy haven for a younger child. The third bedroom, situated at the front of the property, is also a generous double and enjoys peaceful views of the mature trees, adding a touch of serenity to your mornings and evenings.
Parking is provided by a driveway next to the house, big enough for two cars comfortably.
More about the location...
Newton Longville is a village and civil parish in the unitary authority area of Buckinghamshire. The village is about 2 miles (3 km) south-west of Bletchley.
The main industry in the village between 1847 and 1991 was brick making. The village had a large brick factory, originally belonging to the Read family, becoming the Bletchley Brick company in 1923, and then taken over by the London Brick Company (LBC) in 1929. The works made Fletton bricks and distributed them all over the country. It was closed in November 1991 after Hanson Trust bought the London Brick Company.
Newton Longville Church of England Combined School is a mixed, voluntary controlled primary school, that takes children between the ages of four and eleven. It has slightly over 200 pupils.
