This 2 bedroom first floor apartment is located in Repton Park - an area known for its easy access to the town centre, its wide array of shops and cafes, and its thoughtful “green design”. Throughout the area there are woods, wilding areas and footpaths, all leading toward the famous Godinton House - a stately home with beautiful grounds less than a mile from the front door of this apartment. Location wise, it’s as good as you’ll find for a modern development.. but the question is “is the apartment worthy of such a build up?” Well, yes, we believe it is.

 

The apartment is divided into two areas, to the left are the bedrooms, and to the right is the open plan style lounge/kitchen/diner. There are large windows in all of the rooms  which ensures that the apartment feels light and airy throughout. There are no dark rooms here - even in the winter months.

 

The main “day room” comprises of the kitchen, dining and lounge areas. This may seem a lot to squeeze into one room, but there’s no squeezing here as the room measures 21 ft 3 by 12ft 2. To one end there is the kitchen diner, which has built in appliances, and lots of storage and worktop space. There is plenty of room for a dining table and chairs too.  

To the opposite end of the room is the lounge area, complete with a custom built media wall. The layout is down to you of course, but its current arrangement allows you to sit back, relax and even open the doors to the balcony to enjoy the breeze in the warmer months.

 

The balcony is ideal as a quiet spot to have a coffee, or for two of people to enjoy a meal – it’s a significant addition as outside spaces change the feel of apartments. Just knowing that on a sunny day you still can be outside in some capacity, or that you can open the French doors and let the breeze through benefits not only the temperature and humidity, but can be hugely beneficial for ones mental health.

 

The entrance hall has access to all rooms and features an enormous two door cupboard which is fully racked out for coats and all of your storage needs.

 

The main bedroom also boasts a wealth of storage with one wall entirely dedicated to built in wardrobes. It also offers an en suite shower room, giving you that little touch of luxury and privacy.

 

Bedroom 2 is a large single room. It could (if required) accommodate a double bed, but to be truthful you wouldn’t have lots more space for a wardrobe, desk etc. But as a children’s room it is an excellent size.

 

The family bathroom completes the layout, and this is presented to the same high standard as the rest of the apartment.

 

Outside there is a bin store, a cycle store and allocated parking as well as visitor parking and a host of parking bays on the surrounding lanes.
