Slightly further out of town and you can visit the huge Nevada Shopping centre, and the Parque Tecnológico de la Salud de Granada is only 5 minutes' drive away.

The Sierra Nevada ski resort is 40 minutes away by car, and the beaches of the Costa Tropical can be reached in 50 minutes.
