Description
Ffynnon Wen: a beautiful detached farmhouse with 5 bedrooms two bathrooms and beautifully appointed owner accommodation.
White Well Holiday Cottages: 3 superb luxury holiday cottages with 5* reviews, each with private hot tub , stunning views and a communal games room.
9 acres of land surrounded by unspoilt hillsides and amazing vistas, a lake and the most wonderful opportunity to expand this thriving enterprise. What will it be for you? A wellnesss centre, a yoga retreat, eco-centre (go off grid completely? Already fed by its own spring water and with private drainage), add some lakeside lodges....the limit is your imagination...(plus any necessary planning of course)
Some more detail....
The present owners have run this enterprise for the last 9 years and have taken a great pride in creating a simply beautiful package of buildings and land. A garden designer and engineer in a former life have brought their individual skills together to create this utterly outstanding set of buildings and gardens. The attention to detail here is remarkable, they have been to great lengths to ensure that the next owner will inherit a sustainable and thoroughly organised, problem free package.
The Farmhouse
Handsome stone house , elevated with commanding panoramic views. A stunning high quality kitchen /dining room with a kitchen sink view of which you will never tire. The drawing room is large but cosy with a superb inglenook and log burner. A large utility room completes the ground floor. There is a most useful dry basement/workshop , you can view the flow of the spring water from here.
On the first floor are three double bedrooms and two large singles , one currently used as the office and another as dressing room.....(why not|?!) The views are magical. The master has a fabulous ensuite and the large family bathroom is luxurious also. Outside a private terrace perfect for relaxing or alfresco dining sits above glorious landscaped gardens and the spectacular views.
The Cottages
The holiday cottages are set in a delightful horseshoe range, off a courtyard to the rear and side of the house. They are charmingly called, Owl, Dairy and Hayloft. Each has its own private patio, hot tub and barbecue area and from each are exquisite views over the Berwyn Mountains. Two of the cottages have large open plan kitchen/dining/living spaces, three double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (1 ensuite) and the third is a couples dream escape, with one ensuite bedroom, and delightful living /kitchen .
All of the cottages are fully equipped for independent luxury holidays, with a very high standard of bathrooms, kitchens and soft furnishings.
The cottages share a large games room with a quality pool table, table tennis, darts and freeview tv, there is also an adjacent bike store for those who enjoy more athletic holidays.
The Land
9 acres in total, 7 of which have been part of a wilding project to encourage the proliferation of wildlife. A lake has been created and owlboxes home tawny owls. HouseMartins circle and Swallows nest around the buildings. The land offers buyers a myriad of options for increasing the business element or altering its direction to suit their needs
Garages and Parking
There is private owner parking with a 3 bay carport/garage and a huge workshop. Guest parking away from the courtyard comfortably accommodates up to 12 cars.
Eco credentials: The properties have a private drainage system and are fed from a natural spring and borehole, which has never run dry. There is lots of sky if one considers solar, and the site is elevated...offering wind options.
Location
Set on the edge of Snowdonia National Park, the area is rugged and beautiful, changing its appearance daily with weather and seasons. It provides the perfect spot for exploring North Wales, the mountains and coastlines and rich heritage.
Website: is well worth a visit for further information on the cottages.
