BEAUTIFUL TOWN HOUSE BUILT IN 1910, 308 sqm.
This house was built by the great-grandfather of the current owner, who came from Cuba to this village of around 800 inhabitants, which was built between the rivers Sarria and Neira. A beautiful river beach has been built on the latter, where you can relax on hot summer days, and there is even a small pool for children, fed by river water.
The house has 3 floors and a small garden that is perfect for afternoon tea or cooling off on hot summer afternoons.
In the entrance on the ground floor, what once was a grocery store could easily be converted into a room for an elderly person or an office with the possibility of adding a small guest-bathroom. We enter the main house into the dining room and a large living room with a fireplace. Here there is a sink and a door to the garden. Next to it is the kitchen with its own patio and a laundry room. This patio also leads to the garden.
Upstairs you reach the first floor with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one of which is en suite. The latter has a bright dressing room where there is currently a beautiful dressing table (not included but is for sale). There is also a small balcony overlooking the street.
A hallway leads to three bedrooms, one with bathroom en suite, the other two sharing an additional bathroom.
The second floor boasts two additional bedrooms (one with en-suite bathroom). Having been built under the roof, these bright rooms lend themselves to an office, a recreation room, or bedrooms for the little ones in the family.
Back on the ground floor, we find ourselves in the quaint garden, which is separated from the road by a hedge for privacy. This road will soon be converted into a greenway, thus increasing the value of the house.
The house is ready to move in but some restauration-work needs to be done (downstairs floor, attic-windows) and you may want to modernize bathrooms and kitchen although they are still in use by current owner.
In the town itself you will find everything you need for daily life, including a supermarket, bakery, pharmacy, a school, and more. It is 15 minutes from Lugo, a city with the most complete medieval wall in the Roman world, which embraces an old town that invites you to go out and lose yourself in the carefully restored streets. On the outskirts of the wall, you will find all the necessary services, shops, shopping centres, cinemas, etc.
This house will make a family or someone happy looking for a home with lots of space and separate rooms.
