Cailhau and Les Razès
The Razès covers a large area of the West Aude region. The Razès extends across 15 kms east-west and 10 kms north-south. There are a number of small villages, such as Cailhau, usually in circular forms and farmland linking to the biggest of the towns, Belvèze-du-Razès. However, most of this area remains quite rural. There are 2 main roads crossing through the Razès, one being the A623 which runs from Castelnaudary to Limoux and the A18 which links Carcassonne to Mirepoix.
