In October 2015 planning permission was granted for proposed additions, alterations, refurbishment,
external repairs and conversion into a dwelling of the Old School House and construction of a new garage
and plant room with first floor home office. A copy of the decision notice and approved plans are available
from the agent. Planning Reference 152471 – Herefordshire Council.
The plans approved were on the basis of maintaining the aspects of the existing building as viewed from the
road and side lane. Our vendor has carried out works to the building to maintain this and to maintain the
original building fabric. A full list of the works carried out to date are available from the agent. The works
include (but are not limited to) re-roofing of the school cottage and rebuilding of the 4 stack and two stack
chimneys, the erection of the steel frame extension on footings and the erection and completion of the
detached garage with plant room and home office.
