The Village, Burton Village

This, the prettiest of cottages, stands just a ten minutes walk from the RSPB Burton Wetlands. With resident swallows, neighbours' house martins and being under the flight path of thousands of Canada and pink footed geese and the occasional barn owl, this sandstone house, 'Stone House', stands absolutely dead centre to this picture postcard conservation village, Burton Village; a village surrounded by beautiful Cheshire countryside.

Stroll around and either way you'll find beautiful countryside, whether through Burton Woods, down to the marshes and to the coastal path or up and across to Puddington..or just for a less taxing meander around Burton Cricket grounds: inevitably there's a special view from every direction.
