A wooden door with a large, glazed, panel allows natural light to flood into the spacious and charming living room, where the gorgeous wooden flooring continues.  The front-facing, recessed window and recessed shelves add character and the superb inglenook, with slate hearth and tiled lining, houses the log burner provides a cosy focal point and vintage ambience.

Kitchen (2.8m x 3.0m)

A doorway from the living room leads into the recently newly renovated and fully insulated kitchen, through a small connecting corridor. This bright and strikingly modern kitchen contains a good range of grey upper and lower cabinets and a one-and-a-half stainless-steel sink sits beneath the window looking to the side garden. Integrated single oven and induction hob, with glass backsplash and extractor above.  Space for a free-standing fridge freezer.  Vinyl flooring.  Half glazed timber external door leading out to the rear garden.

Bedroom 1 (3.6m x 3.5m at widest)

A beautiful double bedroom decorated in calming, pastel, hues.  Triple free-standing wardrobes with 2 white sliding doors and one mirror door, seamlessly gift an abundance of storage.  Recessed display shelf and front-facing window with deep ledge.  Solid wood flooring.

Gardens and Outbuildings

To the front of the property there is a narrow garden to either side of the front porch, ideal for placing planters and edged with low timber fencing.  To the side, a gravel driveway provides off-road parking, with a wooden gate leading to the rear garden.  Also to the side, the garden is laid with an area of lawn, bounded by timber fencing, hedging and some lovely small trees including some pretty examples of topiary, behind which there is a secluded area of garden, perfect for sitting out, and a substantial wooden outbuilding.  The gardens are bounded by high hedges, offering privacy, and include areas of lawn, raised planting beds containing rhubarb and asparagus, sweet little seating spots and a further wooden garden shed.  A variety of trees including a plum tree, shrubs and a willow arch add further character to these well-maintained country cottage gardens.

The outbuilding has 2 distinct rooms; 3.4m x 3.4m, and 3.4m x 2.1m, and a handy WC; 2.4m x 1.9m, offering flexible usage such as occasional accommodation, garden office, workshop, playroom/den or perhaps for entertaining.  Power and light as well as plumbing and space for washing machine and dryer.
