Description
Comment from Oliver Weston of Gascoigne Halman
Hartford village provides an excellent combination of amenities, geographical position and access to nearby countryside and understandably the desirability of individual property on larger plots on the rural edge of the village are in ever increasing demand. This stunning property has been enjoyed by its current owners for many years and its generous plot, strong features and individuality combine to a very appealing proposition.
Internally, certain aspects have been modernised to create a strong overall impression, but the main thing of note has to be the comfortable proportions of the rooms and adaptability of the space over 2000 square feet on offer.
The property consists of an entrance hall, living room with central fireplace, conservatory and a dining toom that connects the living area through to the breakfast kitchen with its rear porch and covered terrace accessing the external utility room, toilet and double garage.
There are three double bedrooms to the ground floor, each served by the main family bathroom and offering adaptability for additional reception space or home offices as required. The first floor has been developed in a dormer bungalow style offers a further double bedroom with en suite and storage in the eaves space. Further storage can also be found in the substantial mezzanine area above the garage.
Externally the home really shines with a generous plot of 0.69 acre, in addition to the private woodland enjoyed by this home there are beautiful mature formal gardens that wrap around the East, South and West aspects of the home. There are some stunning views of the fields to the North of the plot whilst to the front there is ample parking on the gated driveway leading to the double garage.
