Wonston is a small village adjacent to Sutton Scotney, north of Winchester and lies alongside the River Dever. The village has local shops and The Wonston Arms pub, which was warded the best little pub in the UK. There is also the Coach & Horses in Sutton Scotney which dates back to 1762. Steeped in history. Winchester is England’s ancient capital city and former seat of King Alfred the Great. There are excellent childcare and school options in the local area. Connections in the area are first class with Bullington Cross providing access to the A303 which links to the M3 and the South West and the A34 to both Newbury and Winchester.
