The Site is irregular in shape and comprises the former East Hampshire District Council offices and car parking. The Site extends 3.77 acres (1.527 ha).

It is our understanding that the Site is fully vacant (As of 20 June 2025). The Property will be sold with the benefit of Vacant possession.

The Site forms part of the land edged green (see adjacent plan). The part to be sold is shown on the red line plan below. The remaining land, access road and sports fields are being retained by EHDC.

The land to the south (edged in blue) extends c. 20.78 acres and is owned by the Churcher’s College and largely comprises playing fields. The land to the west extends c. 55.89 acres (edged in purple and extending beyond the adj. plan) is owned by Petersfield Town Council and comprises sports pitches and a leisure centre. The leisure centre is on a long lease to EHDC.

Vegetation on the Site is limited to mixed boundary hedgerows interspersed with mature trees.

The Site is located east of Petersfield within the administrative area of South Downs National Park authority (SDNPA). The Site is located circa 1.8 miles (2.9 km) east of Petersfield town centre, 15.9 miles (25.6 km) north west of Chichester, 20.5 miles (32.9 km) east of Winchester and 26 miles (41.8 km) north east of Southampton.
