Description
This beautifully presented three-bedroom terrace cottage is deceptively spacious, with three good sized bedrooms two of which are doubles, a large yet cosy living room and a lovely bright modern fitted kitchen. Located a stone`s throw from Buckfastleigh town centre, and within walking distance of the local primary school and medical centre.
On entering you are greeted with a good-sized living room, which has a beautiful high quality wood floor with underfloor heating and a stone fireplace complete with wood burning stove. The room has been laid out to a comfy living space with plenty of room for living room furniture, as well as space for a dining table if desired.
To the left-hand side of the stable style entrance door, is the modern fitted kitchen. The kitchen has a range of fitted cupboards along with an integrated gas cooker and hob, and space for dishwasher and a fridge freezer.
There is also a sperate utility room located at the rear of the property, this has plenty of space for both a washing machine, tumble dryer. There is also space in the utility room to store outdoor items such as shoes, coats, and even bikes if required.
On the first floor there are the three bedrooms. The master bedroom is a generous size, which has a light and spacious feel due to the raised apex celling. There is plenty of space for a large double bed as well as free standing furniture. The master bedroom also benefits from a modern fitted en suite shower room.
The second room is also a generous double, which will easily accommodate a double bed and freestanding furniture. The third bedroom is currently being used as a home office space but could also accommodate a single bed.
On this floor there is a large additional storage/cupboard space which the current owner is using as a walk-in wardrobe. This also houses the gas combination boiler which was updated a couple of years ago.
The family bathroom is downstairs and comes with a modern fitted white suite and shower over bath.
Having been sympathetically renovated over several years, this attractive cottage has a huge amount to offer. Finished to a high standard, neutrally decorated, and immaculately presented, it is perfect for first time buyers, and has plenty of space for a growing family, or someone looking to downsize. The double glazing was updated in 2020, and the boiler has been updated in the last couple of years. A viewing is highly recommended.
