5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Vide range of clubs, restaurants, shops available around. This development is located in the city centre so accessibility could not have been better. All neighbours I've met by now have been very nice, along with the staff working on the premises. No noise from surrounding flats.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
There's been no problems for now, prompt answers to any extra questions.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Maybe random, but was relevant to our situation - when choosing whether the flat would be left furnished or not, it's all or nothing - we couldn't have kept the beds but have our own table for example. But no big issues here, as the furniture provided has a nice quality and is easy to rearrange around the flat. You can always switch it when renewing the contract if you change your mind.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The road works across are a bit bad. Also the lack of parking we have a two bed apartment and both drive but we’re only able to get one parking spot and so we have to pay for street parking everyday which is not ideal. It’s an ideal location as town centre in nearby and there has been very little distrubance being so close to nearby pubs and bars.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes i have had good communication with building management about problems. resolutions have been a bit slow
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
how the my renz box works and that we are not allows codes for doors which is not ideal as if forgotten keys ect we was under the impression codes would be given as well as fob
Manager's response4Hi Ellie, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you like the modern design of the apartment and that the soundproofing and location are working well for you. We’re sorry that the apartment wasn’t in perfect condition when you moved in and that parking has been a challenge. We appreciate your patience and are continually looking for ways to improve both the move-in experience and our response times to issues raised. This issue has been forwarded to management. It’s great to hear that communication with our team has been positive, and we’re pleased that you would recommend us.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living at Bolt Works in Halifax is convenient and modern. The town centre has a good mix of shops, cafes, restaurants, and green spaces like Shibden Park. Transport links are strong with buses and trains to Leeds, Manchester, and London, though peak times can be busy. Street living is generally peaceful and bin collections are reliable. Overall, it’s a vibrant location with easy access to amenities.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Management responded quickly and effectively to a parking issue, resolving it and preventing it from happening again.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known how lively the area can get at peak times, especially around the town centre. It’s great for amenities, but new residents should be prepared for occasional noise and busy streets.
Manager's response5Hey Zara, Thank you for your detailed review! We’re delighted you’re enjoying the modern design, facilities, and the convenience of Bolt Works’ location. We appreciate your note about peak-time busyness - it’s helpful for future residents to know. It’s great to hear our management team resolved your parking concern promptly and that you feel safe and comfortable in the building. Thanks again,

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The overall property and the surrounding areas are clean and tidy. The most loveable thing that is very near to the coffee shop (hardly 5 5-minute walk from our building)
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I haven't brought up any, but I'm hoping for a prompt answer in the future.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
It was my fault. I looked at a ground-floor flat, but I ended up going with the seventh-floor flat. I assumed it was close to the lift, but it's actually quite a distance away.
Manager's response5Hi Haritha, Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a review! We're really glad to hear you're enjoying Bolt Works, and being so close to a coffee shop is definitely a bonus (hard to beat that 5-minute walk!). We appreciate your feedback about the kitchen/living space and the sofa at Elevate. It’s really helpful to know how this one compares to your previous flat, we’ll keep that in mind when reviewing furniture and layout options in future. If anything ever comes up or you need help with anything, don’t hesitate to get in touch, we’re always happy to help. Thanks again for the honest feedback and for recommending us, we’re really happy to have you as a tenant! All the best,
