Freehold

Description

"Our house appeared quite sad and neglected when it was listed on the market. It has taken us nearly six years to renovate it and bring it back to life again but the effort was well worth it. Knowing just how much work has gone into renovation, it’s safe to say that we love it even more today than we did when we bought it. We have great neighbours all around us and we all get together on the green area in front of our properties for important events (Jubilee, Coronation, etc.)"

The home

A three bedroom semi-detached home presented to an incredibly high standard, on a desirable road in Downend. Entrance is into a small porch, leading to a hallway with wooden flooring underfoot. On the first left is the open living/dining area, benefitting from a bay window with shutters, wood burner and patio doors leading the garden. Due to the dual aspect, a good amount of natural light floods the room, complimented by the neutral decoration. Adjacent is the contemporary kitchen, from Howdens, featuring integrated appliances, such as hob and oven. From the kitchen you can access with W.C, garden and garage. Heading upstairs, there is a window in the landing, helping to brighten all rooms, and on the first right is a pristine four piece family bathroom with pops of colour and tiled flooring. At the front of the property is a large double bedroom boasting the bay window, with a third bedroom next to it. At the back is a second double bedroom, with a pleasant view of the garden.

The outside space

The plot begins with a spacious driveway, which can fit two vehicles if necessary, in front of the single garage. The front is surrounded by mature shrubbery and an acer tree, leading to the entrance. At the back is the private and picturesque south facing garden, offering a large lawn, shrubbery border and multiple patio areas for entertaining and dining.
