4Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
This place is nice so far, but they don’t provide parking, so you’ll need to arrange your own. Morrisons is the main option for parking, though it would have been ideal to have it on-site. The area itself is okay, with a supermarket nearby as well as some parks. Overall, it’s a good space.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I did submit a maintenance request, but unfortunately received no response for some time. That said, my favorite aspect of living here has been the reception team—they are always so friendly and helpful, and they’ve truly made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Daanish, in particular, has been outstanding. He’s proactive, attentive, and ensured my maintenance issues are finally being addressed tomorrow, which I’m certain is thanks to his follow-up.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
To be honest, I am happy here overall, aside from the issue with the chute odor. I’m genuinely grateful to have my own space and to be creating my little humble abode. I was already aware of the parking situation, so that wasn’t a surprise. The place has been great so far—though perhaps my view is helped by the fact that I haven’t received any bills yet.

4Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Just one minute away from the complex you will find a morrisons supermarket with everything you need. Just off the Ascot Road roundabout you will also find a budgens store with a couple nice restaurants near by.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
A few weeks ago our handle was loose and within a couple of hours the handy maintenance team arrived and fixed it.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Lack of parking. If you do not get a parking spot in Cortland car park then it is a big struggle to find parking elsewhere

It’s been a lovely place to live. Such. Warm and welcoming community that I honestly love being apart of. From the kindness everyone gives. To the love for the land.

The thing I wouldn’t of mind know would be who would be living in sumac garden

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Slightly further away from the city which is the only downside. Good parking availability in underground car park and at Morrisons over the street. Great public transport access with being 20 minute walk from tube station and train station.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Very well, any issues raised previously have been handled accordingly and in a good timely manner.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
That you can only book amenities once a week… we were not informed of this before move in.
Manager's response5Dear Amelia, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. It’s wonderful to hear that you’ve been enjoying the modern design and spacious feel of your home, as well as the amenities at Cortland Cassiobury. We’re especially pleased to know Daanish at reception has made a positive impact, we’ll be sure to share your kind words with him. Your note about the amenities booking system is genuinely helpful. While the once-a-week access is in place to ensure fairness for all residents, we understand how being informed earlier could have helped with planning. Feedback like yours helps us continue refining the move-in experience. We’re also glad to know our maintenance and service teams have met your expectations, and we appreciate your insights on local transport and parking; it’s valuable for future residents to hear. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts. Best regards, Your team at Cortland at Colliers Yard

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Local range of bars are somewhat limited however the location is only 20 minutes out of London. Living on our street is extremely safe, bin collections ideal and no traffic noise. Furthermore no anti social behaviour. This is a fantastic place to live.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
As good as can be, perfect. Any time I have spoken to or raised an issue, they have been prompt in responding and always with solutions never excuses.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I had not known how amazing the actual team were, I don’t think you learn that until you live here. They are truly fantastic and their support and continuous desire to improve the area makes this feel like a home you wouldn’t want to leave.
