Description
What you’ll love about the lodge:
Room to spread out — The three bedrooms are generously proportioned, with a master suite, secondary doubles and extra sleeping space to accommodate up to seven.
Open, welcoming living spaces — Light floods in through floor to ceiling windows, lounge area with comfortable seating, and an electric fireplace opens into a dining area and well-appointed kitchen. Perfect for evenings in, or cooking up local seafood. It has a modern free standing fridge-freezer, an electric oven, a dishwasher, 5 ring gas hob and a wine cooler. It also includes a washer-dryer fitted into a utility cupboard with hooks & shelves for storage.
Outdoor charm — A generous decking wraps around the front and side of the lodge with glass balustrades, newly fitted 5 person hot tub, gas fitted table top fire pit with seating for 9/10 people. A lawn for kids, pets or just relaxing. Spectacular views of the Ceredigon Bay & hills.
Situated at the back of the lodge is a double shed with plenty of room to store a BBQ or bikes of any size, and is situated right besides ample parking space.
Character & comfort — Warm materials (wood, stone), nods to local style. Fitted with an electric fire, central heating and double glazed windows make it cosy even when the weather turns.
Services - Mains water, drainage & electricity, central heating, gas fired boiler, gas hob.
The setting: Ll?n Peninsula.
Dramatic coastline & beaches — Long sandy bays, hidden coves, rocky outcrops, pebbled shores. The coastline is one of the area’s biggest draws. From calm swimming beaches (good for families) to wilder surfing or cliff walks for the adventurous.
Outstanding walks & views — The Ll?n Coastal Path runs right along much of the shore, offering cliff-top strolls, woodlands, meadows, and spectacular panoramas over sea and land. Nearby hills like Yr Eifl or Garn Fadryn provide sweeping vistas.
Rich heritage & culture — Fishing villages, historic ports like Porthdinllaen; old churches and chapels; museums; Welsh language and traditions are strong here. It’s more than just scenery — it’s somewhere with soul.
Wildlife & nature — Birdlife, seals, coastal plants, potentially dolphins in the sea. The natural environment is a big draw. Peaceful, restorative.
Lifestyle & things to do:
Water-based fun — Swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking, surfing where conditions allow.
Villages and food — Quaint cafés, pubs serving local seafood, artisan shops, galleries (e.g. in Llanbedrog, Abersoch) are within handy reach. Markets, seasonal festivals and local culture give a sense of community.
Peace & privacy — Away from big towns, this is for those who value space, stars above, fresh air, and the sounds of nature rather than crowds.
