Description
Hereford Road is a mature and popular residential location on the southern side of the market town of Leominster. The town itself offers an excellent range of amenities including a number of High Street shops, supermarkets, doctor and dental surgery, primary and secondary school and leisure facilities including swimming pool. The larger Cathedral City of Hereford is located approximately 14 miles to the south where a more comprehensive range of facilities can be found, with the ever popular South Shropshire Historic town of Ludlow also easily to hand.
This traditional end terraced property is located in a mature residential location on the southern fringes of the town. From the road, a gated access leads to the front door which open to an enclosed porch. A further door then leads through to the open plan living and dining area with wooden flooring throughout and divided by a central chimney breast. The living area has a window to the front elevation, ceiling and wall lighting and wood burner inset to the fireplace, set on a raised hearth (wood burner not been tested). The dining area has a window to the rear elevation ceiling and wall light and radiator with a door off to the ground floor bathroom and doorway to the kitchen. The kitchen is 'L' shaped and offers a range of matching base and wall units with inset sink and tiled splash backs. There is planned space for appliances including space and plumbing for washing machine, ceiling lighting, tiled flooring, radiator, double glazed window to the side and rear elevations and a door leading out to the rear garden. There is also a recessed cupboard housing the gas fired boiler. The ground floor bathroom offers a suite to include a panelled bath, separate shower cubical, low flush w/c, band wash basin, chrome towel radiator, linen cupboard and windows to the side elevation.
A staircase from the dining area leads up to the first floor landing with doors to both bedrooms. Bedroom 1 is set to the front of the property with window to the front elevation, ceiling light, radiator and exposed wood floor boards. Bedroom 2 has a window to the rear elevation, ceiling light, radiator, exposed wooden floor boards and recess storage over the stairs.
OUTSIDE The property is approached from the road via a gated access to the front door and further access to the side of the house, leading to the rear garden. The garden to the rear includes a patio area directly to the back of the house, useful detached garden shed/workshop with the garden principally laid to lawn.
