Town Planning
The site benefits from a Draft Allocation for Housing within the Reg 18 version of the emerging Local Plan. The site is identified as BA5/H in the Housing Delivery and Strategic Sites section (HO1) and is earmarked to deliver 40 units. We have carried out an architectural feasibility study and think 50+ units would be more appropriate. As a result of the Regulation 19 consultation being pushed back at least another year, we are considering whether a Grey Belt application on this site might be appropriate as we understand that it meets the necessary criteria. To that end, we are keen to understand the difference the additional 15% Affordable Housing (that will be levied against any Grey Belt application) makes.
