Hollywood is one of Hale & Bowdon’s most sought after apartment developments. Constructed in the mid 1980’s by the well reputed local builder and developer Peter Molloy Homes.

Hollywood, a low rise development on the edge of Hale village of just 12 large luxury apartments in three separate buildings, was an immediate hit. They sold out quickly off plan and ever since, whenever an apartment has become available, they have sold quickly.

While Hollywood is not a retirement development, anyone of any age can purchase one, the apartments within Hollywood have always appealed to the more mature buyer, downsizing from a larger family home, attracted by the generously proportioned rooms, the high ceilings and the feeling of independence driven by the fact that many have their own front door and those that share communal hallways and landings have only two or three in each building.

A welcoming central hallway runs through from the front door, all the way to the balcony with glazed window at the opposite end of the apartment. The floor plan better illustrates the layout, however it’s worth noting that what could have been a 3rd bedroom is an open plan area opposite the kitchen door and adjacent to the principal reception room. This could be used as a second sitting room/day room, a study area or as a dining hall.

Most luxury apartment buyers have three or four things on their wish list: dedicated outside space for the exclusive use of the resident, easy parking and garaging, generous sized rooms, and noise insulation from neighbours.

This apartment ticks all those boxes. It’s worth noting that Hollywood was purpose built, so it has concrete floors and ceilings and Apt 12 has three outside walls, so while you may see your neighbours from time to time, we don’t expect you’ll hear them.
