Moored at the Ferry Quay in Woodbridge, offering convenient access to Woodbridge's shopping and recreational amenities. The Tommy Lee is believed to have been under Admiralty control during the Second World War towing ammunition barges up the river Thames for loading on to the warships. After the war it continued work on the Thames and associated waterways up until its retirement. It was in 1986 the boat was converted to a live aboard river cruiser.
