5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
This is our second year of living here. We feel fortunate to live here because of the following Location: PRH is walking distance and so is Charlton School and Dothill Primary School. Two nature preserves on either side of Assembly park helps to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Bus stop is 5-10 minute walk, Wellington station is 5 minutes by car. Aldi, Morrisons and the Wellington Market is 5-10 minutes by car as well. Neighbours: We are blessed to have friendly neighbours who look out for each other. What's living on your street like: Bin collections are regular. If they miss, which happens rarely, registering a ticket on the council website resolves the missed bin collection the next day. Haven't heard or seen any anti social behaviour on our street. For those working from home, it's quiet here.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
We haven't had any issues to deal with. We did request our locks to be replaced from a fob based key to a regular key but they had planned to do it for everyone in our street and got it done without any issues.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
We have only good things to speak of about Assembly park . We like the location, the neighbours are friendly and help each other out.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The area is great, especially with kids as the schools are nearby as well of a couple of parks. Parking is pretty good too. It’s a lovely quiet area too apart from pick up and drop off time from school but has never been a huge problem.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
We have had a few problems since moving in but all have been fixed promptly and efficiently.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Just how busy the roads can get at pick up and drop off time for the schools bit it hasn’t caused any issues for us.

Willow Grove, MK42
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Willow Grove is a quiet area with green spaces, play grounds and schools nearby. It is great for families with kids and everyone who likes running or cycling or dog walkers. People here are very friendly and stop just to say hello or have a chat. Everyone is very helpful, including posties and delivery drivers. Southern Cross, where we live, is very quiet street right now. The only time you see your neighbours is the morning when we all take our kids to nurseries/schools. Throughout the day you see a few dog walkers and delivery vans. At the weekends there are more families with small kids walking, cycling or spending time in the playgrounds. There is a construction site at the west end of the street, so we expect to be busier in the future, once the new homes are finished and the road opened to connect this part of Wixams to the new Town Centre and railway station. However, the houses on our side of the street have car park along it with a green space in front, so we don't think the traffic will bother us in the future too much. There are no local shops, restaurants, gyms, GP etc. as it is still in development. However, there are approved plans for a Town Centre, which will have all the above. There are 4 schools nearby: Willow Grove Primary School, Wixams Tree Primary & Secondary Academies, Lakeview Primary School. There is no train station at the moment but a new one is being built which will provide service by Thameslink to/from Bedford. This service runs to Luton Airport, St. Pancras International, Gatwick Airport and Brighton. The nearest railway stations are in Bedford and Flitwick, which have facilities for parking cars and bicycles. There is a bus service provided by Stagecoach. Their bus MK1 goes from Bedford via Luton Station and Airport to Milton Keynes and back. There are two bus stops in Wixams: Southern Cross and Dove Lane. However, the service is not frequent, ranges from every 40 minutes to 1 hour. The closest shopping centre is The Interchange Retail Park in Kempston MK42 7AZ. There are: Boots, Superdrug, TK Maxx, The Range, Next, Pets at Home, Dreams, ScS, Nando's, KFC, McDonald's, Burger King, Costa Coffee, M&S Food Hall and a gym. For now, the nearest GP Surgeries are in Kempston. There are 4 of them there.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Our property manager responded quickly to all our queries, comments and issues.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I think we had a very good idea what to expect before moving in, so there is actually only one thing which surprised us. The address of our home is so new that it doesn't exist on Google Maps and other databases used by delivery companies, which causes delay with deliveries or even makes it impossible. We literally had to add our house number to Royal Mail system, because it didn't exist. Local posties know the area very well, so they didn't have problems to find us, but companies using their service couldn't find our address, so they were saying items couldn't be delivered to us. We've been adding the address patiently for the last two weeks and it seems to be better now. Maybe a good solution for the future would be adding new addresses before tenants move in.
Manager's response5Thank you so much for sharing such a detailed and thoughtful review. We’re delighted to hear how well the home design suits your family’s lifestyle and that the south-facing garden, spacious rooms, and study space have all added to your enjoyment of the property. Your insights about transport links, schools, and local facilities will be really valuable for future residents considering the area. We also appreciate your feedback on the address registration process – we’ve already taken this on board and are working with our teams to make sure new homes are added earlier, helping to avoid delays with deliveries. We’re especially pleased to hear your kind words about Olly and the team – it means a lot to know their efforts made your move smooth and stress-free. We’ll make sure your thanks are passed on. Thank you again for your review and for helping us improve the experience for both current and future residents. We’re so pleased you’re enjoying your new home.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The area is really great. For now, it feels a bit empty, as there are still quite a few vacant houses, but hopefully that will change soon so all good for now.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Mustafa is very quick and reacts well to all issues, he is well-organised and responsive. Happy to have him here.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I don't think there is anything like that, everything was well introduced. Thank you.
Manager's response4Thank you for taking the time to leave such honest feedback. We’re so pleased to hear that you’re enjoying the area and that Mustafa has been so responsive and supportive – we’ll be sure to pass on your kind words to him. We really appreciate your suggestions on the home’s design, as these insights help us understand what works well for residents and where improvements could be made. We’re very sorry to hear about your experience with repair times and quality. This is not the standard we want to deliver, and we’re actively working with Dandara to improve both response times and workmanship so that issues are resolved properly the first time. Your comments are being shared directly with the team to ensure they are addressed. Thank you again for your feedback – it helps us to make positive changes and deliver a better experience for all residents.
