Description

For almost 43 years, the current owner of this bungalow and family have enjoyed the wonderful country views to the rear and felt fortunate to have been part of this vibrant Wiltshire village. It is with regret that the time has come to let someone else put their own mark on this much loved home to create their own happy memories.

Detached apart from the neighbours garage, this is a property that should tick a lot of boxes for a variety of purchasers requirements. Built during the 1960-1970's design period of solid construction and wide windows for plenty of light, Greenways is now available with scope to bring it up to date and create a superb home for single storey retirement, extend to create a family home or mixture of both with space for family visits.

The present owners lengthened the garage to over 40ft, to create a workshop, added a large North facing conservatory to enjoy the garden and views, and constructed a 20ft outbuilding that served as a shed and further workshop for the end of the garden where there were bee hives and produce beds.

Hanging Langford is a hamlet in the Wylye Valley that forms part of the parish of Steeple Langford. Situated on the south bank of the River Wylye, a few miles from the A303 and A36 junction. Nearby villages have restaurant pubs and shops. The villages are almost equidistant from the larger centres of Salisbury, Warminster and Amesbury, with Wilton and Tisbury nearer. Tisbury and Salisbury are the nearest mainline train stations.
